One Barnsley Charter June 20th 2008.Launched at a Workshop at the Cooper Gallery Barnsley.The Charter gained over 1000 signatures of prominent councillors politicians, public services workers,religious groups and trade unionists.It was the culmination of an AdEd Knowledge Company HLF programme ‘Remembering Slavery:Building Diversity’ with BBEMI (Barnsley Black and Ethnic Minority Initiative).
Ian MacMillan and the people at the Workshop wrote the poem.
